A pleasantly surprised pathway of life.
Let's find out where it leads us.In the 5 years that I have known you, I have seen you grow, and change. Even if you are 6 years older than me, I am still able to say that I am proud to see how far and how great you have become. You have overcame event's far more difficult than I could ever fathom and have fought battles I could not stand to engage in. You pushed through and thrived. I am so proud of you, and every day I see what you do, it makes me smile, knowing that you have the soul to do what you want, without letting others tarnish your thoughts and dreams.Over the course of a month, you have given me an opportunity that I never thought I'd receive. Slowly over that month I began seeing you in a spotlight I never thought you'd step into. I started thinking about things I thought I wouldn't think about. We we're always best friends. A reflection of each other in many ways.As of writing this, our first ever trip together has come to an end. It was a lovely experience to be able to hold you close and get lost in your eyes. I miss it already, and I know you miss it too. I plan on visiting you as soon as I can, and as sad as it may be that I can't be there right now, in time I will be next to you for every waking moment.During this trip I got to see a side of you I didn't think I'd get the blessing to experience... But as we went on, it only got better and better. As we walked back to my car for the first time, I was stuck in a state of conscious surprise. I didn't know what to say, but every part of my body and soul was filled with excitement and joy. Just knowing that I can finally rest and find comfort. You are the first person that made my mind, and soul put its guard down. I finally felt every worry in the world vanish without a trace. Like it never existed. As we crawled into the car and slammed the AC on, you got comfortable, and you kissed me. In that moment I truly had nothing to fear, and It took me a few seconds to understand what was going on. You took me by surprise and I never felt so free. I wish I could have kissed you more, even though we did every so often. The moments where we were cuddling together, falling asleep in each other's arms. The moments where we were laughing and singing together while flying down the highway. The moments where we walked down and around the terminals and danced under the glowing moonlight and the stars. I enjoyed every single second of it. I finally felt like my life was free. I felt as light as a feather, and I was able to smile and laugh with ease. Without a fear of being harmed or laughed at. I tried new foods with you and experimented on experiences I have never had, and I can't thank you enough for opening so many doorways in my life. Even if it was 4 days, It excites me to know that it was only 4 days. It makes me excited to see what happens over the course of a year. Or even the course of a lifetime.I love you.
